EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – A North High School student is facing criminal charges after bringing a handgun to school Friday morning, according to officials with the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation and the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office.
Shortly after school began Friday morning, authorities say a School Resource Deputy was approached by students who believed another student was in possession of a firearm. The students told the deputy that the student had shown them the handgun.
