Evansville woman accused of chasing juvinile with knife

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — An Evansville woman has been arrested after police say she chased a juvenile with a knife.

Police say Kendra Thomas, 38, was arrested and charged with the following:

  • Domestic battery with a deadly weapon
  • Criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon
  • Domestic battery with a prior unrelated conviction
  • Domestic battery in the presence of a child less than 16

According to an affidavit, officers were dispatched to the 4500 block of Pollack Avenue around 12:49 a.m. on Sunday about a fight outside a home. When they arrived, police said witnesses stated that an argument began with a juvenile and Kendra Thomas.

The witnesses said the argument escalated when Thomas when inside, began to tear up the house and started to throw household objects in the direction of the juvenile. The victim said she was sitting outside of the house, holding her baby brother, when Thomas stepped out of the house with a knife…
