HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Drivers on both sides of Evansville are seeing changes along the Lloyd Expressway as the Lloyd4U project moves closer to completing several major pieces of construction.
A new traffic pattern is already in place on the east side, including the opening of new displaced left-turn lanes, while work continues on another displaced left-turn intersection at Red Bank Road. Drivers on the west side should also prepare for paving work and flaggers beginning September 2.

INDOT says construction at the Lloyd Expressway intersections with Burkhardt Road and Eagle Crest Boulevard/Cross Pointe Boulevard has entered its final phase.
As part of the latest traffic shift, westbound displaced left-turn, or DLT, lanes are now open.Drivers traveling west on the Lloyd can now use two DLT lanes to turn south onto Burkhardt Road. A single DLT lane is also open for drivers turning south onto Eagle Crest Boulevard/Cross Pointe Boulevard…
