EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – Indiana Landmarks is highlighting ten historic landmarks that are on the brink of extinction, and two of them are right here in the Tri-State.
The list includes “First Church of Christ, Scientist”, more commonly known today as Bethany Apostolic Church on Mulberry Street.
Built in 1916, the church is said to embody the Christian Science movement’s emphasis on reason, harmony and early Christian ideals.
