HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – The Area Plan Commission of Evansville will be considering a zoning request from Walmart.
According to documents, the general location Walmart is eyeing is the southwest corner of Millersburg and North Green River roads in Vanderburgh County. The zone is currently labeled as mixed use residential and agricultural. Walmart would like this to be rezoned to better suit commercial development.
Local average gas prices are lower than national average
Walmart wants to build a Neighborhood Market in this area. The Area Plan Commission meeting to discuss Walmart’s proposal is set for September 3 at 3 p.m.
