HENDERSON, Ky (WFIE) – Henderson Police are the lookout for a distinct and unusual lawn decoration that was stolen straight from a homeowner’s yard.
The police department says between midnight and 7 a.m. Sunday, a sculpture depicting a skeleton riding a rooster was snagged from a yard.
While getting the word out, HPD officers poked some fun at the situation with humor referencing The Minecraft Movie’s infamous “chicken jockey” scene.
“We know the Minecraft Movie trailer has everyone obsessed with Chicken Jockeys, but taking someone else’s lawn decorations to recreate it in real life is NOT the play!” they say. “While it might look like a live action Minecraft mob, stealing yard decorations is a crime, not a video game quest.”…
