EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – Evansville police officers and Vanderburgh County deputies traded emergency calls for casual conversation Tuesday morning at Coffee with a Cop.
A casual setting for conversation
The event was held inside Revival Coffee Company at The Hills Church. The monthly gathering brings city police officers and county sheriff’s deputies together with community members in a casual environment where no topic is off limits.
Sgt. Anthony Aussieker with the Evansville Police Department said it was his first time at the Revival Coffee Company location.
“We are at coffee with a cop at revival out at the Hills Church,” Aussieker said. “It’s our first time here. And I got to say, I love it here. Just the kids area they have, the coffee’s delicious. So if anybody’s watching, come on out and have some coffee and chat with us.”…
