HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – An Evansville man was arrested on multiple charges, including invasion of privacy and neglect of an animal, after authorities say he violated a protection order filed against him and attempted to release dogs from his ex-girlfriend’s home.
Officers were dispatched to Hampton Drive just after noon on Saturday after a caller reported that her ex-boyfriend, Timothy Barker Jr., 35, was attempting to release dogs from her home to make them run away. The caller would later tell officers that Barker messaged her saying he was at her house and going to release her dogs so that she would never see them again.
After arriving at the scene, officers say they found Barker in the parking lot with two small dogs nearby. An officer attempted to place Barker in custody, but he reportedly became “very loud and belligerent” and spoke aggressively while not complying with commands…
