EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – A man is facing reckless driving charges after police say he was traveling more than 100 mph in heavy rush-hour traffic on the Lloyd Expressway.
An Evansville police officer was driving west on the Lloyd Expressway passing under Highway 41 around 5 p.m. Friday when a blue Hyundai Elantra sped past.
According to an arrest report, the car was weaving between lanes to pass slower vehicles and accelerated to speeds estimated between 75 and 80 mph. The officer turned on emergency lights and a siren to catch up…
