Testimony for/against clemency to be heard ahead of Weisheit’s lethal injection

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WFIE) – The Indiana Parole Board will listen to four hours of testimony – two of them for, and two of them against clemency for an Evansville man on death row.

The public hearing is set for October 19 in Indianapolis.

Jeffrey Weisheit is scheduled to die by lethal injection on November 5 for the 2010 murders of Evansville siblings Alyssa and Caleb Lynch, ages 8 and 5.

Only those called to testify may speak at the hearing, but written comments are accepted and will be considered by the board during its deliberations…
