Ex-owner of Evansville social media site arrested again

EVANSVILLE – One of the former owners of a popular Evansville social media site has been arrested again after police say he defrauded a used car dealership earlier this year.

Patrick Marshall Garrett, 37, was booked into the Vanderburgh County jail Sunday on charges of fraud and theft, both Level 6 felonies. He’s since been released on $750 bail.

Indiana Secretary of State records list him as the chief financial officer of Evansville 411 News, a Facebook page with more than 97,000 followers. His ex-husband, Richard Dee Garrett, is identified as the chief executive officer, but he’s currently serving a 14-year sentence at Putnamville Correctional Facility after pleading guilty to two counts of armed robbery in 2024…
