EFD urges Fall Festival goers to stay safe while having fun

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — This year marks the Evansville Fire Departments first Fall Festival since taking over emergency medical services in the city.

Officials say crews have been busier than expected, mostly treating people for falls and dehydration. They say most calls come in around lunch time when the crowd increases and the temperature rises.

If you need help, crews can assess you at their tent at 10th and Michigan and determine what care you may need from there. They say the goal is to keep everyone safe while they enjoy the festival…
