Evansville family continue to raise awareness for missing woman

EVANSVILLE, In. (WEHT) – The family of Dawnita Wilkerson continue to raise awareness of her disappearance over three years later. She was last seen in 2020 at a local motel getting into a silver 2004 Chevy Suburban.

Family members say it’s been a hard time for them, especially after losing Dawnita’s mother last year. “You know, sometimes our days are good and sometimes our days aren’t, but we are still there for each other to support each other and get through whatever we need to get through,” says Faye Cardin, Dawnita’s aunt.
