EVANSVILLE, Ind (WEHT) – A national search came to an end in Evansville.
Inside Evansville Regional Airport, Michael Wright has time to reflect. Wright was at the Atlanta International Airport Tuesday night, when he noticed a woman struggling to walk to a terminal.
“It took us about 55 minutes to get from the C terminal to the F terminal. I got her settled,” Wright said. “I thought it was the end of it.”

But little did Wright know his act of kindness would create another.
The woman’s son, Jamie Tutko, the director of player development at Louisiana State University, was told the whole story.
“He ended up walking my mom all the way up to her gate, got to the gate, told the TSA agent that she was his mom and that she has a bad knee and that she needs to get on the plane first,” said Tutko. “So my mom was one of the first people to be able to get on the plane.”
Tutko put his story on X and sent a radio plea, hoping to find the man, known only as “Michael from Lafayette” to say thank you.
