Evansville Fire and Police chiefs to be named Monday

HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – Mayor Stephanie Terry’s office says Evansville will soon learn who their fire and police chiefs will be under her administration.

According to officials, we will learn who will be appointed on Monday.

Paul Anslinger was appointed fire chief in September after longtime fire chief Mike Connelly resigned, so he could retire .

Billy Bolin is the city’s current police chief and has held the role since 2012. He was appointed when former mayor Lloyd Winnecke took office.

When a new administration takes office, it is not uncommon for city departments to see shake ups.
