EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT)- The Evansville-Vanderburgh School Corporation board has approved to spend $16 million on two projects to repair the Reitz Bowl and Enlow Field.
The school board says it is looking into fixing the bleacher painting and replacing concrete, which is starting to bubble and cause issues.
The school board says it is also looking into taking legal action ‘due to the coating not performing as represented.’ The board also claims current and future property taxes will not increase as a result of the repayment.
The EVSC spent nearly a million dollars in 2020 on repairs to the Reitz Bowl and Enlow Field.
