EVANSVILLE – The Haynie’s Corner Arts District will host its third annual Chili Cook-Off on Sunday, Feb. 4, beginning for the public at 4:30 p.m., on the Haynie’s Corner wiffleball field. Chili cooking teams of two people must cook five gallons of chili on the field that day and provide all their own ingredients.
To sign up as a team, fill out the form here. Judging will happen at 3:30 p.m. Guests pay $10 at the gate to enter and get all they chili they care to eat. It is recommended to get there right on time, because tickets are limited and chili supplies are gone when they’re gone.
The Haynie’s Corner Wiffleball field is at the corner of Southeast Second Street and Adams Avenue.
