Pizza Hut driver accidentally helps EPD officers arrest hit-and-run suspect

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – A hit-and-run suspect missed out on pizza after police say he lied about a crash early Wednesday morning. Shortly before 1 a.m., police were called to the 1600 block of Keck Avenue after a witness saw a black Jeep hit a fire hydrant, drive off and then come back. Around that time, Lavonna Ford noticed a car in front of her home.
