Roughly four years ago, Brock Pederson sat in his hospital bed in Texas and tuned into the WBKR St. Jude Radiothon in Owensboro, Kentucky. Brock’s mom Amye is from western Kentucky and she joined the event via phone from Brock’s hospital room to share her family’s story.
