Bomb squad called to home in Boonville

BOONVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — Police said a call to a home in Boonville about a grenade was a false alarm.

The Warrick County Sheriff’s Office said the bomb squad was called on Saturday afternoon for a possible grenade found in a driveway.

The scene was already cleared when our crew arrived.

Boonville Police Department Chief Brandon Wells said the grenade turned out to be a replica.
