EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) -Sunshine to start Sunday, but clouds will overspread the Tri-State by Sunday evening. Highs will climb into the lower 50s, about 10 degrees warmer than the normal. Cloudy skies will start the work week with rain showers moving in by Monday afternoon. The system bringing the rain will slide east and draw colder air down by late Monday through Tuesday. We may see a brief mix with snow, but no accumulations expected in the region. Parts of southern Illinois, especially along I-57 could see light accumulations of an inch or less. Tuesday and Wednesday will bring near-normal highs in the 40s. Southerly winds will warm temps into the 50s for Thursday and Friday with more showers possible then.
