HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Officials say the 16th annual Homeless Connect of Southwest Indiana will take place on March 21 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Old National Events Plaza in downtown Evansville. The event, with the mission of assisting the homeless, near homeless and under-resourced, will offer many services at this “one day, one stop, one mission” event.
A media release says yearly, this event serves more than 600 individuals and families. This year, more than 60 local agencies will provide free, on-site services. These services are normally only available in offices or online, and at this event, they’re all accessible in one place on the same day.
