HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – Three people were taken into custody for warrants in Evansville.
Evansville Police state on Friday, members of the Evansville-Vanderburgh Joint Drug Task Force with the help of other authorities, arrested Franoties L. Starks, 46, for two counts of Dealing Methamphetamine. Police state Starks was found to be in possession of about 12 ounces of meth.

Antonio W. Morris, 47, was also arrested for Dealing Methamphetamine, Possession of a Firearm by a Serious Violent Felon and Maintaining a Common Nuisance. Police say detectives recovered meth, digital scales, a firearm and a large amount of currency from the search warrant. Police also say EPD SWAT assisted in the executed of the search warrant due to the nature of the investigation and the criminal history of those involved.
Police also state during a separate warrant, Michael A. Wright, 18, was arrested for Battery, Intimidation with a Deadly Weapon and Dealing Marijuana. During the search, a firearm was recovered, and a detectives learned from a separate investigation, a victim had been assaulted by Wright on February 4 in the 2100 block of W. Franklin Street.
