Two arrested in Evansville meth investigation

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — Authorities said two people were arrested after a recent investigation into meth being sold in the Evansville area.

Detectives with the Evansville Vanderburgh County Drug Task Force said they started the investigation this month.
Brandy Williams, 37, and Dennis Phelps Jackson Jr., 30, face several charges.

Police said they had a confidential informant buy meth from Williams several times, totaling over 50 grams.

Police said Jackson was with Williams each time.

After being taken to jail, police say Jackson was seen eating some meth that he had hidden on his body, then sharing it with another person in the holding cell.
