Supreme Court ruling allows cities to ticket homeless for sleeping in public spaces

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) -The Supreme Court has ruled that cities and towns can now ticket the homeless. The landmark decision was based on a case out of Oregon. The city of Grants Pass, Oregon, can enforce ordinances now that prohibit homeless individuals from sleeping in public spaces such as parks, streets, and sidewalks.
