EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — Members of the Grace of Christ Church were in Evansville Saturday making a lasting difference in the war in Ukraine.
A number of people lined up to purchase Ukrainian food and treats at the Green River and Washington Avenue intersection all to support people in Ukraine facing the Russian invasion.
All proceeds are going toward purchasing medical supplies.
Members of the church say they’re thankful for all the community support.
Eyewitness News is told the group will have its Ukrainian food out at the West Side Nut Club Fall Festival next month.
