Evansville man arrested after motorcycle chase with ISP

HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – An Evansville man is behind bars after a reported motorcycle chase with Indiana State Police.

Officials state a lieutenant was patrolling Koressel Road near New Harmony Road at about 3:10 p.m. on Tuesday when he allegedly tried to stop an electric motorcycle for not having a registration plate.

Officials say the rider continued south reaching speeds of about 85 MPH before blowing through a stop sign at Marx Road before going east. Officials say the pursuit ended when the rider turned onto several different county roads before pulling into a driveway in the 5600 block of New Harmony Road before surrendering.

The rider was identified as Owen King, 22. King was taken to the Vanderburgh County Jail where he is being held without bond.
