Two accused of stealing copper wire from Evansville building

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — Two people are charged with burglary after police say they stole copper wiring from an Evansville building.

Angel McKinney and Jon Kuhr were arrested on Saturday night.

Police say they were called to a building in the 400 block of Chestnut Street.

Officers say a large duffle bag was found just outside the door that McKinney and Kuhr came out of. Police say they found large amounts of copper wiring in the bag.

According to a police report, the two are suspects in several other burglaries.
