HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – The Villages of Indiana is hosting a day to celebrate new and expectant mothers at its first-ever community baby shower in Evansville.
Officials say the day will feature food provided by CareSource Women and Children’s Health Outcomes and giveaways including diapers, car seats, strollers, cribs and more. The event is free and open to the public.

The Villages of Indiana explain more than 16 vendors including the Goodwill Nurse Partnership, Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library and the Vanderburgh County WIC program will have booths at the event. Stellar Lens Photography will provide free mini-photo sessions for expectant and new moms with their children.
