17-year-old dead following shooting in Tepe Park

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – Evansville Police have confirmed one person has died following a shooting in Tepe Park on Tuesday.

Central dispatch says they received a shots fired call around 10:36 p.m. Sergeant Anna Gray says no one is currently in custody.

Sergeant Gray also said officers heard what they believe may have been another gunshot while investigating, and yelled for everyone to get inside.

EPD have confirmed the deceased is a 17-year-old male. No names have been released at this time.
