It Takes a Village No-Kill Animal Rescue welcomes new CEO

HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – It Takes a Village No-Kill Animal Rescue announced a new CEO, effective immediately.

Amanda Green was appointed to the position, and officials say she brings a wealth of experience to the position.

Officials say Green in a Tri-State native and graduate with the University of Evansville. Officials also say she brings 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector with a lifelong dedication to helping animals and supporting the community.

“I am honored to take on this role at It Takes a Village Animal Rescue,” said Green. “I believe in the power of community and collaboration to create positive change for animals in need. I look forward to working with our team, volunteers and supporters to further our mission and make a lasting impact.”

Officials also say under Green’s leadership, ITV aims to upgrade and grow facilities, expand outreach and continue providing compassionate care to animals while fostering community engagement.
