Vanderburgh County voters selecting three for spots on County Council

EVANSVILLE — Polls are closed in Vanderburgh County and voters will soon find out who is filling multiple positions in local government.

The Vanderburgh County Council has its three at-large seats up for grabs and six candidates have been working to earn the constituents votes.

Tonight will tell who out of Republicans Jill Hahn, Joe Kiefer II, Ed Bassemier or Democrats Bob Deig, Karese Johnson and Dustin Stephens, will take over in 2025.

Voters also had to vote for some down-ballot races of important positions in Vanderburgh County.

Republican Russ Lloyd Jr. and Democrat Gina Robinson Ungar are up for recorder, and either Democrat Keith Mosby or Republican Brian Underwood will be the next Vanderburgh County Coroner.
