EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) -A cold front will spread showers and a few thunderstorms across the Tri-State Tuesday night through early Wednesday. Some locally heavy rainfall is possible, and most of the area should pick up around an inch of rain. The severe weather threat is low as the front moves through. Temps will pull back into the low 70s on Wednesday with some lingering showers in the morning and another round possible in the evening as the front stalls out along the Ohio River. Slow clearing on Wednesday with highs in the middle 60s. Friday will be sunny and brisk in the morning with lows in the upper 40s and highs in the mid 60s. More showers likely beginning late Friday night and continuing through the weekend. Highs on Saturday and Sunday will top out near 70 and lows will sink to the lower 50s. Partly sunny and pleasant to start next week with highs in the upper 60s.
