EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — Bands from across Southwestern Indiana are preparing for the Indiana High School Marching Band Competition in Indianapolis Saturday evening.
In Evansville, North High School’s marching band performed before heading to their finals.
“Well over 300 hours of training and practice go into it,” says band director Noah Farmer. “One of the most special things, for me , is seeing these students at the end of this process showing more maturity.”
Princeton Community High School, Reitz, Mater Dei, Boonville, Jasper and Forest Park will also be competing at the Lucas Oil Stadium on Saturday.
Eyewitness News will have a crew in Indianapolis to bring coverage of the competition.
