New Donut Bank breaks ground in Evansville

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — Another Donut Bank is coming to Evansville.

The locally owned chain company is building on the north side of Evansville, on Veith Lane near the intersection of Heckel and Green River Road.

This will be the company’s 11th location in the Tri-State.

The company opened in 1967 when Harold and Shirley Kempf opened their first store on First Avenue. It’s now run by their son’s Joe, Chris and Ben.

The new location is something customers have been asking for.

Kempf says they hope to have the shop up and running by the first of May.
