EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — City officials host a public meeting to hear from residents about their experiences with housing conditions in the city.
The meeting is a continued effort to make sure that residents’ concerns are heard on the ongoing issue.
On Tuesday night, attendees voiced their thoughts on the issue such as ineffective social programs and homelessness contributing to housing barriers.
The city also released a fair housing survey to hear directly from residents with housing discrimination issues.
The survey can be found here and will remain open until November 23.
