HENDERSON. Ky. (WEHT) — Three people were arrested Thursday after a search for a wanted suspect from Kentucky led Indiana State Police to Jasper.
A press release obtained by Eyewitness News says Kevin Henning, of Kentucky was wanted on multiple felony warrants out of Kentucky. Troopers were told that Henning was living with his girlfriend in Grandview, Indiana.
The release goes on to say that troopers found a vehicle that belonged to Hennings girlfriend in the Jasper Wal-Mart parking lot. Troopers and officers with the Jasper Police Department found the occupant of the vehicle, Michael Bickett of Kentucky. Henning was not located at the scene. While speaking with Bickett, officers found approximately 72 grams of suspected methamphetamine and approximately 61 grams of suspected marijuana in the vehicle.
Troopers say hours later, Henning was arrested while deputies with the Spencer County Sheriff’s Office were conducting a traffic stop. His girlfriend identified as Letisha Cook was also arrested.
