EPD says four charges filed against man found “slumped over” in traffic

HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – An Evansville man is facing four charges after allegedly being found “slumped over” in his vehicle in traffic.

According to an affidavit, officers were dispatched to the intersection of Fulton Avenue and Columbia Street in reference to a person down. Officers were also notified that a male was slumped over inside the vehicle.

One injured; one charged in accident on Kratzville Road in Evansville

After making contact with the driver, Jeremy Robb, he claimed that there wasn’t anything on him or in the vehicle. Officers allegedly located an empty plastic bag and a folded piece of paper in Robb’s pants pocket.

After being detained, a search was reportedly conducted of Robb’s vehicle where officers allegedly found a large bag of a brown leafy substance in a computer bag in the trunk. Four pieces of drug paraphernalia were also reportedly found in a boot in the trunk.

EPD says the green leafy substance that was found tested positive for marijuana and had a field weight of 131 grams.
