EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) -Scattered showers and clouds lingered on Christmas Day. Temps will remain mild through the end of the week with lows in the middle 40s on Thursday morning. Mainly dry on Thursday with a high of 55. Another weather system will push in from the south on Friday and Saturday. Rain will be likely on Friday and Saturday with rainfall amounts of one half to one inch possible over the 2-day period. Temperatures will rise into the upper 50s on Friday and may break into the mid 60s on Saturday. Some rumbles of thunder possible Saturday, but it still looks like any severe weather threat will stay well to the south of the Tri-State. Mild temps will linger through the end of the year, with more rain possible on New Years Eve.
