Multiple fire crews from Kentucky, Indiana expected to work overnight battling Henderson fire

HENDERSON, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — Multiple crews of Kentucky firefighters are expected to work overnight Wednesday battling a fire in Henderson.

According to Henderson police, around 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, 911 callers reported a fire in the 1100 block of First Street.

Henderson fire officials wrote on Facebook that crews are working alongside other crews from Robards, Basket, Zion, Corydon, and an Indiana crew from the Ohio Township to battle the fire.

Emergency personnel in Henderson said that while area roads are closed so that necessary equipment and crews can get to the scene, no evacuations have been ordered and no injuries have been reported.

“Crews are expected to remain at the scene throughout the evening and into the overnight hours,” the fire department wrote on Facebook.
