EVANSVILLE — This spring, the Evansville Water and Sewer Utility is set to sample tap water at all elementary schools and child care facilities built before 2014.
In conjunction with that, the utility is creating a database of all such facilities within its water distribution system to share information about the adverse health effects caused by lead and to schedule visits to sample tap water.
There is a public meeting aimed at educators set for 10 a.m. on Jan. 25 at the Sunrise Pump Station at 1200 Waterworks Road. The meeting will be streamed and a recording will be available later at EWSU’s website…
