Owensboro Public Schools offers affordable virtual healthcare to all students

OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEHT) — Owensboro Public Schools is expanding access to medical care for its students by adding telehealth services. Every student can use it, regardless of insurance status.

“They can actually still stay at school…the parents not having to leave work to take the child to the doctor, and the kiddos not having really missed that much class time,” says Samantha Taylor-Kaai, Clinic Program Director at Audubon Area Community Care Clinic.

12 schools in Owensboro now have access to an in-person nurse and virtual healthcare services.
