MOUNT CARMEL, Ill. (WNDU) – The U.S. Geological Survey says a 2.4 magnitude earthquake was recorded near Evansville on Sunday night.
Officials say the quake happened at 10:18 p.m. EDT (9:18 p.m. CDT) along the Wabash Valley seismic zone in Mount Carmel, Ill, which is about 30 miles north of the Evansville area.
