Former fire chief suing City of Evansville

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – Former Evansville Fire Chief Paul Anslinger is suing the City of Evansville.

That’s according to a lawsuit filed by his attorney, which shows he is suing the city for not paying over $10,000 in vacation compensation at the time of his retirement, and over $20,000 in damages.

The suit says the City accepted his retirement, and that Anslinger is owed the payout according to a bargaining agreement between the the International Association of Firefighters and the City…
