Sheriff: Evansville man admits to throwing dog from vehicle, says it was ‘unmanageable’

VANDERBURGH COUNTY, Ind. (WEVV) — The Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office says a man has been charged after admitting to dumping a dog by throwing it from the window of a vehicle.

As we reported Thursday, surveillance footage shared by local business Salvage Candy showed a small dog being thrown from a vehicle on Weinbach at I-69.

Thankfully, the dog was safely captured. It was given the name “Salvage,” and is now being put up for adoption…
