HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Evansville crews began work to repair a sinkhole forming on Oak Hill Road Tuesday morning.
The city of Evansville’s engineering office says the roadway began to fail yesterday morning near the entrance to Oak Hill Cemetery and Highway 41. On Tuesday, crews began excavating to determine the problem causing the sinkhole.
Officials say crews are no longer at the scene, and work will continue on Wednesday. The road will remain closed until further notice from the entrance to the cemetery on Willow Road to Columbia Street…
