HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – The sun will come into perfect alignment with Angel Mounds this weekend during the summer solstice.
At sunrise on June 21, dozens of local solstice enthusiasts are expected to arrive to view the alignment with the sun at mounds A and F. The site was purposelfully built to align with celestial events like the solstices.
