Convicted felon charged with possession of handgun, terroristic threatening in Henderson

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – A convicted felon from Evansville was arrested in Henderson after authorities say they found a handgun in his possession while serving a warrant.

According to the Henderson Police Department, officers arrested Deon Vaughn, 29, on June 19 at a local hotel on a warrant for terroristic threatening. While serving the warrant, officers say they found a handgun within his reach. Vaughn has a felony conviction in Indiana which prohibits him from possessing a firearm.
