City of Evansville named in civil suit

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT)- An Evansville man files a civil suit against the city and a man allegedly involved in a pursuit with Evansville police.

Accused intoxicated driver behind bars following fatal crash

Robert Fritts filed an action in Vanderburgh Superior Court earlier this week, claiming that last December, a vehicle driven by James Reed crashed into his vehicle during a pursuit. Fritts claims he suffered serious injuries as a result of the crash and is now seeking compensation through a jury trial.

James Reed is set to go on trial today in the same pursuit case. He faces several charges, including resisting law enforcement, reckless driving, and leaving the scene of an accident…
