EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — The University of Evansville received a $500,000 grant from Lilly Endowment Inc. to expand its youth programs, as part of the Indiana Youth Programs on Campus (IYPC) Round II.
This grant builds on the $1 million received in 2022, allowing UE to engage more than 1,214 students through various educational programs. Many participants come from underserved neighborhoods and would be first-generation college students.
